No mission to uplift the underprivileged can succeed without prioritizing quality education for children. Since its inception,
NUCT has been committed to supporting underprivileged children with the aim of breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy,
and educational backwardness by empowering individuals and communities to become self-reliant through education.
To date, NUCT has awarded scholarships to over 900 school and college students across 30+ schools, covering 50% of their
fees. Additionally, it has provided notebooks to more than 1,500 students in government-aided schools.
Health is essential for every living being, yet a significant portion of the underprivileged population remains deprived of it
due to exorbitant hospital expenses.
NUCT has established the AL KHAIR CHARITABLE POLYCLINIC in the slums of Syed Nagar, Masab Tank, offering free
consultations, medications, ECG services, and IV solutions. The clinic serves an average of 100 patients daily.
In addition, NUCT organizes free medical camps in partnership with various hospitals, providing specialized treatments in
fields such as cardiology, oncology, gynecology, diabetology, and more.
A family’s financial stability improves significantly when women contribute to income-generating activities, especially in
economically weaker sections where dual incomes are increasingly essential. Empowering less-educated women to become employable and start part-time income-generating activities while managing household duties, however, remains a
challenge.
NUCT has identified TAILORING and MEHENDI (HENNA) DESIGN as practical income sources, both of which can be done from
home or part-time. So far, NUCT has provided free tailoring training to over 400 young girls and housewives, equipping them
to stitch various garments and earn a sustainable income. Mehendi design training is also offered, enabling underprivileged
women to generate additional income for their families.
In its mission of benevolence, NUCT provides MONTHLY PENSIONS to widows, divorcees, and disabled individuals,
distributes FOOD GRAIN KITS to needy families during Ramadan, supplies BLANKETS TO THE POOR IN WINTER, donates
clothes to impoverished families, extends flood relief to affected communities, and offers support to orphanages and old
age homes.
The National United Charitable Trust (NUCT) is a not-for-profit public trust that is open to all, regardless of caste, creed, religion, community, or gender.
